Is it possible to "hear" Man In The Cave from the level of his cave?

As all of experienced bosshunters probably know, we can "hear" Man In The Cave from the level below his cave, while we're standing with Ice Golems and waiting for being roped up.

I wonder if it's possible, to hear Monks and the boss himself with their quotes "Repent Heretic!" or "THE MONKS ARE MINE!" from other places, for example located on the same level:

Any help will be appreciated! 🙂

Yes indeed. You can usually hear the monks from exactly where that pic is taken
